Who can benefit?

Debt issues are often more complex than basic non-payment. It is far easier to collect a debt if the person owing it is maximising their income and making the best use of it.

Debt counselling is more than just advice it requires an active helping hand.

At the same time it is important to understand what is reasonable expenditure, and most importantly become better positioned to educate debtors on the importance of prioritising debts. Individuals can be trained to be more empathetic and able to identify solutions that really help.

This additional knowledge and skill set can only be acquired by training from experienced debt counsellors who can equip delegates to ask the right questions and identify underlying issues before suggesting a new money strategy.
